A Fine Art Portrait Session with Jayne Michael embodies elegant and classic style posing, focusing on the subject's face and without forced smiles. These sessions will focus on captivating solo portraits with a portion of your session dedicated to your desired groupings.
Your portraits will be edited to perfection in a painterly fashion, highlighting your child's features and adding depth and dimension, which allows for the portraits to come to life when printed professionally. Although Jayne Michael's photography style makes little to no use of props, a variety of holiday props will be provided for your session. These props are to aid in the story and the portrait, they are fairly neutral in color and have a classic and timeless feel.
Blue Christmas PETITE Sessions will be captured at our studio in Bloomfield, NJ.

*There are no rain dates for this session. If you must cancel, you may sell your spot or you will forfeit your session fee.
**If you are late, time will be deducted from your portrait session.

PRICING:
The cost for this session is $449. A signed portrait agreement is required to secure your session date and your booking fee is non-refundable.
PLEASE READ PRIOR TO BOOKING:
*Sessions cannot be extended or rescheduled due to lateness. Please plan to arrive at least twenty minutes before your session and you will be called when it’s time to enter the studio. If you are more than 20 minutes late, your session will be canceled.
*Total appointment time allotted is two hours, which includes time for your portrait session and image viewing & ordering appointment. An ordering appointment with the guidance of Jayne Michael is included in your session to customize your image collection. This appointment will occur immediately following your portrait session to view your proofs and make your image selections. All decision makers must be present.
*Client has the option to purchase additional Digital Portraits at a rate of $225 per image, printable up to 8x10. Additional Archival HD Fine Art Prints and Wall Art Products will also be available for purchase during your ordering appointment. Fine Art Prints start at $250, Wall Art Portraits start at $500 and Luxe Folio Collections start at $1400. A corresponding sized digital portrait is included with every purchase. *Session fee and a signed portrait agreement are required to secure your session date & time and is non-refundable. The portrait agreement must be signed and returned within 48 hours of issue to hold your session date.
*Approximate turn around time for edited digital portraits is 5 weeks during the holiday season and will be delivered via an online gallery for download. Any art prints and products you purchase may be picked up at the studio approximately 10 weeks following your ordering appointment. Images may be rushed for a fee of $100/image.
*Any image order placed after November 15th, 2023 may be not be guaranteed in time to order your holiday cards.
*Each image is hand edited by Jayne Michael to the best of her ability. Standard retouching includes skin smoothing, light blemish removal, eye enhancements, stray hair removal, and background enhancements/cleanup. Any complex requests or editing requests after the images are delivered will result in additional charges.
