A Portrait Session with Jayne Michael embodies elegant and classic style posing, focusing on the subject's face and without forced smiles. These sessions will focus on captivating solo portraits with a portion of your session dedicated to your desired groupings.
Your portraits will be lightly edited in a painterly fashion, highlighting your child's features and adding depth and dimension, which allows for the portraits to come to life when printed professionally. SPRING MINI SESSION:
Will be captured at regal garden located in Morris County, NJ, about 15 miles from Fairfield in May 2026.
*Must be available on session date AND rain date to reserve your session. We will schedule an agreed upon rain date after your reservation is complete.
**Session time will be approximately one hour before sunset. Keep in mind, exact session start time may vary depending on the weather and you will be notified of the exact start time 24 hours prior to your session.

-Fully Guided 20-30 Minute Portrait Session - ( with up to 4 persons)
Additional subjects may be added on and will be charged $50pp
-Pre-session Questionnaire and 15 Minute Virtual Creative Consultation
-Online Image Viewing & Ordering Appointment (within one week of session)
-3 Edited Digital Images- printable up to 8x10

PRICING:
The cost for this weekday session is $495, or $545 for any Friday-Sunday. A signed portrait agreement is required to book your session date and your booking fee of $250 is non-refundable.
PLEASE READ PRIOR TO BOOKING:
*A rain date will be scheduled and you must be available on both your scheduled session date and the rain date agreed upon.
*Sessions cannot be extended or rescheduled due to lateness. Please plan to arrive at least twenty minutes before your session. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your session will be canceled.
*An online image viewing gallery and ordering appointment with the guidance of Jayne Michael is included in your session to customize your image collection.
*Client has the option to purchase additional Digital Portraits at a rate of $150 per image, printable up to 8x10. Additional Archival HD Fine Art Prints and Wall Art Products will also be available for purchase during your ordering appointment. Fine Art Prints start at $50, Wall Art Portraits start at $400 and Luxe Folio Collections start at $1495. A corresponding sized digital portrait is included with every purchase. *Session fee and a signed portrait agreement are required to secure your session date & time and is non-refundable. The portrait agreement must be signed and returned within 48 hours of issue to hold your session date or will you forfeit your session fee and session spot.
*Approximate turn around time for edited digital portraits is 3 weeks during peak seasons and will be delivered via an online gallery for download. Any art prints and products you purchase may be picked up at the studio approximately 6 weeks following your ordering appointment. Images may be rushed for a fee of $75/image.
*Each image is hand edited by Jayne Michael to the best of her ability. Basic retouching for these mini sessions at this pricing includes skin smoothing, eye enhancements and background enhancements/cleanup. Any complex requests or editing requests before or after the images are delivered will result in additional charges.

*RAIN POLICY:
We kindly ask, if possible, to keep your entire session day open in case of rain or poor weather conditions so we can shoot at a different time if necessary. If your date is completely rained out, we will reschedule for the agreed upon rain date (weekend dates are subject to availability and not guaranteed). We will contact you 24 hours prior to our scheduled session with your exact session start time and if inclement weather appears to be an issue.
